No one likes waking up to puffy eyes!  Many factors can cause under-eye puffiness, where fluid builds up, causing swelling.   It can be from allergies, a lack of sleep, or sodium retention...Hello soy sauce. To help, look for eye creams with ingredients like caffeine, cucumber, green tea, chamomile, and licorice root.

Tip #3:

Guess what?...Not everyone needs to use an eye cream! If the products you are using on the rest of your face are well formulated, not irritating, and fragrance free, you can use them around the eyes too.

Tip #4:

If you don't have sensitive skin, look for an eye cream with retinol to soften fine lines. Retinol and vitamin A derivatives can help your skin cells regenerate and stimulate collagen production.  Since this ingredient can be irritating, so use a small amount and start every other night to check tolerance.

Tip #5:

Make sure you choose an eye cream that is fragrance free.   Artificial fragrance is a strong source of sensitizing and allergic reactions. Your eyelid is some of the most sensitive skin on your body, so irritation is common here.
